Since its inception in 2015, the department has grown remarkably from an initial intake of 120 students to 360 students, reflecting its commitment to quality education and the trust it has earned among aspiring learners. The three-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme provides a comprehensive foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology through a curriculum that combines academic rigor with practical exposure. Students gain expertise in Programming Languages, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Web Technologies, Java, PHP, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art computer laboratories,advanced computing facilities, and a well-stocked digital library.
